Cadence have developed Play Strategies with local authorities across England and helped them access BIG Lottery money.  Cadence's play work is done with Leisure and the Environment, who were key authors of Planning for Play, the national guidance to local authorities on play strategy.

Cadence are also advising others on innovative Playful Ideas applications, as well as Sustrans' play policy.

Cadence are also leading research into youth provision, the links with anti-social behavour and deprivation and co-ordinating a Blueprint for community based youth work with Clubs for Young People.
