What would you like to change? is a great website done by Price Waterhouse Coopers. It features videos where people say, unsurprisingly, what they would like to change. It ranges from small children saying 'my hair' to top executives extolling the virtues of work and life 'balance'.
Encouragingly there is a section on making things stick too. Here they say, amongst other things:
- Change only sticks when the people it affects are involved. Great change leaders know this.
- All change is either embraced or rejected by the people who have to live with its outcome.
- It's always best to involve those people in the process of change and pay close attention to their hopes and fears.
This approach is something that has come up time and time again in our work on innovation and it will be interesting to see how PWC follow up on this clever website.
