Cadence's Hoodie, goodie, project, funded by JRF is making good progess. The videos of the young people at the park bench are done and going live early in the New Year. The mapping work by Sheffield University (along London/Abbeydale road, Sheffield) is looking interesting and the emotion mapping has been done.
The whole project is interested in local neighbourhoods and what makes them better places to live? What influences perceptions of other people in that area? Environmental psychologists at Surrey University are creating a survey to explore the issue in the study area, which covers 20,000 households in SW Sheffield.
The video survey research is an opportunity for anybody to get involved and more info will be made available here and on the project blog http://www.hoodiegoodiebuddy.blogspot.com/
The BBC are interested in the emotion mapping that was carried out in the Autumn (see more on the blog again) they say that 'Researchers in Sheffield have been studying how people's emotions change according to their surroundings'.
