The Government by convention restricts its policy announcements during the local election period. Purdah. This leaves slim pickings for organisations like us who like to highlight policy announcements and debate on our website. We use our news and views to show that our research and policy work is up to date and informed by the latest developments and not the copy-and-paste, same-old, same-old output that gives consultancy a bad name.
So, regardless of the results tomorrow (Boris or Ken), we are looking forward to the Government's machinery getting going again and giving us something to get out teeth into.
